About Robert Mast

Rob trained and qualified as a physiotherapist at the well regarded HvA in Amsterdam in 1993. Rob has 19 years of extensive experience in MSK physiotherapy.

He has been working as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist in the primary care since 2004. Rob has a special interest in the Pilates and Core control concept and been involved in instructing Pilates and Core control techniques to the clinical population for many years. He has held numerous courses in this area educating both patients and physiotherapists. He is highly skilled in manual therapy techniques such as spinal manipulations and deep soft tissue techniques.

Rob is one of a very limited number of physiotherapists in the UK who holds a formal qualification (Pg.Cert.) in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. He qualified in 2010 through Canterbury and Christchurch University. He is an experienced tutor on Ultrasound courses teaching fellow AHPs and medical professionals in MSK ultrasound diagnostics as well as ultrasound guided interventions. He is a visiting lecturer at London Southbank University.

MSK ultrasound is an important adjunct to his clinical practice and it has aided the accuracy of clinical diagnoses and allows more precise ultrasound guided interventional procedures such as injections and joint aspirations.
