About Sarah Withers

Sarah is an MSK physiotherapist and has worked in primary, community and secondary care settings over her career. Over the last 10 years she has worked across the traditional boundaries of  primary, community and secondary care working with MSK services shortening patient pathways, improving outcomes, supporting self- management and implementing digital mechanisms for communicating with service users. Sarah is also passionate about the impact that physiotherapists can have in Primary Care and wants to widen access to these skills and knowledge. She is now Head of Implementation for First Contact Physiotherapy at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy supporting national FCP implementation working with local services, regions, national policy makers and healthcare organisations to implement services in Primary Care effectively, safely and sustainably.
