Hazel has over 16 years experience treating patients with upper limb conditions. For the last 6 years Hazel has specialised in the management of Brachial plexus injuries and presented at international conferences.

Publications include: Co-contraction, fatigue and the lived experience following Oberlin nerve transfer, Interrater reliability of the Brachial Plexus Outcome Measure and a systematic review of the pathophysiology associated with Frozen Shoulder. Current areas of research include the use of patient reported outcomes in adult and child brachial plexus injuries, pain prevalence in birth related plexus injuries and the effects of scarring on body image following nerve graft surgery.
