We are delighted to announce we have Professor Dan Horner joining us for a presentation on lower limb venous thromboembolic disease and injury, as well as the TILLI trial. 

Professor Dan Horner, Consultant in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, Honorary Clinical Professor, Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre, Faculty of Biology Medicine and Health, University of Manchester

Dan Horner is a consultant in emergency and intensive care medicine at a major trauma and neurosciences centre, previous Professor of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and current honorary clinical professor at the University of Manchester. He has research interests in the prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease, coagulopathy in brain injury and early sepsis management in the critically ill. He is an expert advisory panel member for several NICE guidelines and accompanying quality standards. He occasionally blogs (stemlynsblog.org) and infrequently tweets (@exRCEMProf).
